The Strawberry plants that I ordered from Thompson & Morgan on Sunday arrived today. The variety I brought was ‘Cherry Berry’. They came as 3 plants and cost £9.99. I have potted these into 11cm square pots filled with John Innes No.3. These have now been put into the unheated Greenhouse.

I also planted the Garlic ‘Solent Wight’ bulb cloves into 9 cm square pots filled with John Innes No.1 compost. These are currently placed in the Unheated Greenhouse but I will when I get the time take them down to the Allotment Greenhouse.

I decided to sow around 24 of each so I can allow for some failures. From back to front I sowed the following: Onion ‘Ailsa Craig’, Onion ‘Bedfordshire Champion’, Onion ‘Exhibition’ and Onion ‘The Kelsae’.
